The Moviegoer is the University of Pennsylvania's only film and media criticism publication. We are a student-run publication dedicated to providing insightful coverage of popular culture. The Moviegoer is generously sponsored by the Zarin/Rosenfeld Endowed fund at The Kelly Writers House.
Phoebe Weintraub

Phoebe Weintraub is a junior in the School of Arts and Sciences double-majoring in English and Cinema and Media Studies. In her free time you can find Phoebe either reading, writing, watching movies and T.V. shows, or spending time with family and friends. Though they change all of the time, her favorite movies are most consistently Little Miss Sunshine or the Way Way Back.

Maya is a Junior majoring in Biology and minoring in French. In her free time she enjoys watching movies (duh!), spending time with her animals, and reading about art and culture. Some of her favorite movies are Party Girl, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Masculin Feminin.

Mollie is a Junior majoring in Cinema and Media Studies, originally from Norman, Oklahoma. She enjoys taking extended walks around campus, writing, and watching an outrageous amount of movies and television. Some of her favorites include Harold and Maude, Cinema Paradiso, The Young Girls of Rochefort, and Freaks and Geeks.

Design
Matt's a senior in the online Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences undergraduate program, majoring in Ancient Religious Cultures and Globalization. By day he's the Head of Core Product Experiences for NBC News, where he runs the teams responsible for all of NBC News Group’s consumer-facing core digital products across NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, E!, TODAY, and Telemundo. By night he can usually be found watching movies. His all-time favorites are The Empire Strikes Back, Withnail & I, Zulu Dawn and 2001: A Space Odyssey. He loves anything by Stanley Kubrick, Werner Herzog, Sergio Leone or Mike Leigh.
